Who is responsible
neptuneplay.net is an independent UK publication. We do not run gambling services and hold no player accounts. Under UK data protection law the site's publisher is the controller of the limited data described here, and can be reached at webmaster@neptuneplay.net.
Data involved
Reading pages
Pages are static files delivered by a content delivery network. To serve and protect them, that network logs technical request data such as IP address, requested address, time and browser type. We add no analytics, trackers, social plugins or fingerprinting of our own, build no reader profiles, and cannot identify you from a visit.
Emailing us
Write to webmaster@neptuneplay.net and we keep your address and message for as long as it takes to deal with it, then delete them. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.
Following a button to BetNeptune
Our affiliate buttons go to a short path on this domain, which forwards you to the operator with a code identifying neptuneplay.net as the source. The operator does not send us your name, contact details or account data; at most we receive anonymous totals of sign-ups and commission. Once you are on its site, its privacy policy governs. Cookies
As of the review date we set no cookies and embed no third-party service that does. The delivery network may set a strictly necessary security cookie; such cookies do not follow you between sites and need no consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. If we ever add something that sets cookies, this page changes first and, where required, we will ask for consent.
BetNeptune's site uses its own cookies, with a consent banner offering a "Manage Cookies" option. Those are the operator's responsibility.
Sharing
Only with the services needed to run the site, namely the delivery network and our email provider, each processing data solely to provide that service. We sell nothing, and would disclose data only where the law requires it.
Retention
- The delivery network holds request logs briefly, on a rolling basis, for security, and then deletes them.
- Emails are deleted once the matter is closed, unless we need a record of a complaint.
Your rights
Under data protection law (UK GDPR, with the Data Protection Act 2018) you have the right to know whether we hold your data, to get a copy, and to have it corrected or deleted, as well as to restrict or object to its use and to move it elsewhere. Email webmaster@neptuneplay.net to use any of them. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
The site deals with gambling and is meant for people aged 18 or over. Children are not our audience, and we never knowingly collect an under-18's data.
Updates
If anything here changes we will update this page and its review date. Carrying on using the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
