Why the register is the place to look
Any business offering gambling to people in Great Britain needs a Gambling Commission licence, and the Commission publishes a searchable list of licence holders. Each entry shows the company's name and account number, the activities it may offer and, on a separate tab, the domain names tied to it. For a player trying to work out what has happened to a brand, that tab tells you more than a review site or a forum thread ever will.
The entries for AG Communications Limited and ProgressPlay Limited show separate accounts. The domain statuses below are dated 26 September 2026; use the register for the current position.

A domain status does not explain what happens to an individual account. Ask AG Communications Limited about your balance, withdrawals or access to games.
What this means if you have, or had, an account
Your contract is with AG Communications Limited, so questions about a balance, a withdrawal, verification documents or a closed account belong with that company. Use the contact route it gave you, keep a copy of what you send, and note the date. We cannot pass messages on, and we would be wary of any third party that says it can recover funds for a fee.
If gambling was part of the reason you stepped away, the tag on a register entry changes nothing about the help on offer. GAMSTOP blocks every GB-licensed gambling site in one step, and our safer gambling page lists free support.
Check the register yourself in four steps
-
Step 1: Open the public register
Go to the Gambling Commission's website and choose the public register of businesses. It is free and needs no account.
-
Step 2: Search by account number
Enter 39483 for AG Communications Limited, or 39335 for ProgressPlay Limited. A name search works too.
-
Step 3: Open the "Domain names" tab
That tab lists every web address attached to the licence, each with a status tag such as Active, Inactive or White Label.
-
Step 4: Note the date you looked
Tags change over time. What matters is today's entry, so compare it with the dated check we give on this page.
How BetNeptune's entry compares
BetNeptune is the separate brand this site covers. Its footer says ProgressPlay Limited is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 39335, and the domain list for that account carried www.betneptune.com with the tag "White Label" on 26 September 2026. One licence, one company, and no overlap with AG Communications Limited.
A BetNeptune account is opened from scratch on its own site. It does not inherit anything from Neptune Play, and the offer below is BetNeptune's, set by ProgressPlay Limited.
