Five things to know

Deposit methods

The Deposits page names eleven methods and calls every one instant. Several are for other countries, so we list them all with the page's own notes. Where it prints a limit, it uses "€ / $" rather than pounds; we have copied the figures and have not converted them.

MethodWhat the page says
PayPalOffered only to customers in the UK and Ireland, per the page.
Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and others)Debit cards are accepted. The page states that UK players cannot deposit by credit card.
Apple PayFor current iOS with Safari or another compatible Apple device; you approve with Touch ID or your passcode.
TrustlyPay from your bank. The page gives 20 minimum and 700 maximum per deposit, printed with a € / $ sign.
paysafecardPrepaid voucher. Limits shown as 10 minimum and 700 maximum, again with € / $.
PayzE-wallet previously called ecoPayz. Minimum shown as 20 (€ / $).
MuchBetterE-wallet run from a phone app. Minimum shown as 20 (€ / $).
SkrillMarked as not available to UK customers, and excluded from bonuses.
NetellerMarked as not available to UK customers, and excluded from bonuses.
NeosurfIreland and Norway only.
EFT by SwiffySouth Africa, Kenya and Nigeria only.

Depositing runs through the Cashier: sign in, choose Deposit, pick a method and complete its form. The site says it emails a confirmation for every deposit and lists no deposit fees, though your bank or wallet provider may charge its own.

Choosing a method (our view)

Withdrawals go back to the method you paid in with, so start with one you are happy to be paid by. PayPal and debit cards are the simplest pairing. Trustly and Payz show quicker published transfer times than cards and PayPal. A paysafecard voucher is a neat way to cap spending, but it is not a withdrawal option, so you would still need a second method to cash out.

Withdrawal methods and published times

Seven payout methods appear on the Withdrawals page. For each, the operator prints how long processing takes and how long the transfer takes; we copy those figures, quickest first. We have not measured them, and the terms let the operator hold a payment until verification is done.

MethodProcessingTransferNote
Instant Bank Payment1 business day1 business dayHandled through TrueLayer, according to the page.
Neteller1 business day1 business dayOn the withdrawal list, though the deposits page says UK customers cannot use it.
Trustly1 business day3 business days
Payz1 business day3 business days
EFT by Swiffy1 business day3 business daysOnly for South Africa, Kenya and Nigeria.
PayPal1 business day3–7 business days
Debit cards1 business day3–7 business daysThe page says Mastercard withdrawals are unavailable because of issuer restrictions, and Visa withdrawals are unavailable in some countries.

To cash out, open the Cashier, choose Withdrawal, select a method and submit. Three rules from the terms apply: the request sits as "Pending" for three business days and can be cancelled then; asking to withdraw while a bonus is still being wagered cancels the bonus; and no withdrawal is possible until at least one deposit has gone through.

Caps and minimums

Each account can withdraw up to €6,000 in a month, and no more than €3,000 of that in any week. Progressive jackpot wins are paid in full outside those caps, and the operator may lift the limits at its discretion. The terms write most hard limits in euros and use "$" to mean whatever currency your account is in. Neither payments page states a minimum withdrawal; the cashier shows it for your method.

Identity checks

ProgressPlay Limited verifies identity when you register and repeats the check whenever it has cause. A valid photo ID is required before a first withdrawal is processed. Further checks come if you change key details, if you ask for a payout to a method you never paid in with, or once your combined deposits and withdrawals across its network hit €2,000. Expect requests for proof of address from the last three months and proof that a card or wallet is yours; if you send a card photo, hide the security code and the eight digits in the middle. Upload early and a withdrawal never waits on paperwork.

Fees and dormant accounts

No fee is shown against any of the seven payout methods, from Instant Bank Payment and Trustly to PayPal and cards. It does show fees for crypto assets, although no crypto deposit method is listed. Any charge made by a payment provider falls on the player. After 12 months without a login, and 30 days' notice, an account is charged an administration fee of 5 euros a month, up to the balance held, so do not leave money sitting in an old account.

Names on your statement

A card deposit can appear as "Babaloo CASHOO.EU", "Babaloo Limited" or "ProgressPlay Limited", sometimes followed by a city. BetNeptune's pages describe Babaloo Limited as a payment processor; for most payout methods the reference given is "Babaloo Limited / ProgressPlay Ltd". That explains an unfamiliar line on a statement.

When a payment goes wrong

BetNeptune offers live chat and email support around the clock, and both payments pages link to its help centre. We cannot see accounts, so raise it with BetNeptune directly at www.betneptune.com; the login page explains where they are. The terms also describe a complaints procedure and an independent dispute service if support cannot resolve things.

Payments questions

How do I withdraw from Neptune Play?
Through AG Communications Limited, the company that holds Neptune Play accounts. We cannot help with that balance, and BetNeptune cannot either: it is a different company. Everything else on this page is about BetNeptune.
What can UK players deposit with at BetNeptune?
PayPal, debit cards, Apple Pay, Trustly, paysafecard, Payz and MuchBetter, going by the operator's own country notes. Credit cards are refused for UK players, Skrill and Neteller are marked unavailable in the UK, and Neosurf and EFT by Swiffy serve other countries.
How quickly do BetNeptune withdrawals arrive?
Every payout method shows a processing time of one business day on the Withdrawals page. Transfer times then differ: one business day for Instant Bank Payment and Neteller, three for Payz, EFT by Swiffy or Trustly, and three to seven for PayPal and cards. The terms add a three-business-day pending stage during which you can cancel. We have not timed a withdrawal ourselves.
Are there withdrawal limits?
Yes. Per account, the terms allow €6,000 a month and €3,000 in any one week, with progressive jackpot wins exempt, and let the operator raise the limits at its discretion. Figures are written in euros; a sterling account's cashier shows what applies to you.
What will my bank statement say?
For card deposits, expect "Babaloo CASHOO.EU", "Babaloo Limited" or "ProgressPlay Limited", sometimes with a city, according to the Deposits page. The Withdrawals page gives "Babaloo Limited / ProgressPlay Ltd", or "Truelayer Limited / ProgressPlay Ltd" for Instant Bank Payment.
