Our BetNeptune verdict

BetNeptune is a licensed, sport-first site with a sizeable casino attached. What we like: a sportsbook with real football depth and full UK and Irish racing cards, a live casino stocked by both of the big live studios, and account tools for setting deposit and loss limits. What we like less: card and PayPal withdrawals can take up to a week in transit, nothing in the lobby is exclusive to the brand, and small signs of a shared platform show through. For someone who wants a bet on Saturday and a few spins afterwards, it works well. For someone chasing a big casino bonus, it is not built for that.

That paragraph is opinion. Use the sections below to compare games, payment options and account limits.

Licence

The footer names ProgressPlay Limited, a Malta-registered company licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, and says it is licensed and regulated in Great Britain by the Gambling Commission under account number 39335. The register's domain list for 39335 listed www.betneptune.com with the tag "White Label" on 26 September 2026. The same company runs other brands, which is why the bonus rules talk about limits across "the network".

Offers

BetNeptune runs a sports welcome and a separate casino package. Both are on hold on this page: the operator's published terms currently disagree on wagering and on how long a bonus lasts. See operator terms; the bonus page and the free spins page explain why. 18+, new customers only, T&Cs apply, BeGambleAware.org.

Sportsbook

The menu listed 52 sports on 26 September 2026, with more than 1,300 football events on the board. One international match carried hundreds of markets across goals, handicaps, corners, cards and player bets. Racing has its own tab for UK and Irish horses and greyhounds. Accumulator boosts, an early payout market, bet builder, in-play and cash out (full or partial) are all there, priced in decimal odds. Live streaming is not shown to logged-out visitors. More on the sportsbook page.

Casino and live dealers

Slots dominate: 4,562 of the 6,496 titles on the lobby counter, from studios including Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Playtech, Big Time Gaming, Hacksaw Gaming and Nolimit City. Most slots can be tried in demo mode. The live section splits into roulette, blackjack, baccarat and game shows, with Evolution and Playtech tables side by side, and in our view it is the strongest part of the casino. See the casino tour and the live dealer guide.

Deposits and withdrawals

UK customers can pay in by PayPal, debit card, Apple Pay, Trustly, paysafecard, Payz or MuchBetter. Credit cards, Skrill and Neteller are marked unavailable in the UK. Every withdrawal method shows one business day of processing, followed by anything from one business day (Instant Bank Payment) to three to seven (cards and PayPal). On top of that, the terms set a pending window of three business days, require ID for the first withdrawal, and cap payouts at €6,000 a month and €3,000 a week. Details on the payments page.

Mobile, sign-in and support

There is no app to install. The site adapts to a phone screen and adds a bottom bar for the menu, casino, live, sport and cashier. Signing in happens in a small window with email and password; support is described as 24/7 by chat and email, with a help centre behind the "Support" link. The app page and the login page cover both.

Safer gambling tools

On BetNeptune's Play Responsibly page you can cap deposits, wagers and losses by day, week or month, and there is also a reality check, a time-out, automatic session expiry and network-wide self-exclusion. Our safer gambling page adds the independent UK help.

Limitations to bear in mind

None of these touch your money, but they show a platform brand rather than a hand-built one.

Who BetNeptune fits

Football and racing fans who like a casino on the side, players who want deposit and loss limits, and people happy to withdraw to PayPal or a debit card and wait a few days. It fits less well if you want instant payouts or a large casino welcome deal, and it is not a way back into a Neptune Play account.

Review questions

Why is there no proper Neptune Play review here?
The register listed neptuneplay.com as "Inactive" on 26 September 2026. Contact its operator for help with games, balances or withdrawals.
Is BetNeptune the new name for Neptune Play?
No. They are different brands run by different companies: BetNeptune by ProgressPlay Limited and Neptune Play by AG Communications Limited. The register lists their domains under separate accounts.
Is BetNeptune safe to use in the UK?
ProgressPlay Limited holds a Gambling Commission licence (account 39335), listed on the register on 26 September 2026. A licence brings UK rules on age checks, fair games, customer funds and safer gambling tools. It does not promise you will enjoy the product; the rest of this page is about that.
What is BetNeptune strongest at?
In our opinion, sport. The site opens on the sportsbook, and football and UK and Irish racing get the deepest coverage. The Evolution and Playtech live lobby is the best part of the casino side.
Why no star rating?
Scores suggest a precision nobody has and are easy to inflate. We describe what is there, quote the terms that matter, and label our views as views. You weigh it up.
