BetNeptune live casino: the dealer tables UK players can join

How the live section is laid out

"Live" has its own tab in BetNeptune's header. Inside, the lobby has five tabs: All, Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and Game Show. Evolution and Playtech tables are mixed together within each tab rather than split by studio. Tap a tile and the table opens; you need to be signed in with a balance to take a seat.

Tables by tab

A sample of what each tab held on our visit. Studios rotate tables, so names come and go.

From Evolution

The studio's familiar names are here. Wheels include Immersive Roulette and the Lightning-style speed games; card rooms include Salon Privé, VIP, Speed and Infinite blackjack; baccarat players get Dragon Tiger and Bac Bo; and the shows include Mega Ball, Football Studio and Crazy Pachinko. Evolution's First Person versions of roulette, blackjack and baccarat are in the lobby too.

From Playtech

Playtech brings its Quantum range, including Quantum Blackjack Plus, x1000 Quantum Roulette and Quantum Roulette Live. Also from Playtech: The Greatest Cards Show, Adventures Beyond Wonderland Live, Spin a Win, All Bets Blackjack and the Mega Fire Blaze tables. Tables streamed from casino floors, including roulette and baccarat from MGM Grand, were listed as well.

A short checklist before you play

• Read the limits on the table. Each shows its minimum and maximum before you join, and the VIP and Salon Privé rooms start far higher than standard tables.
• Check any active bonus. Table stakes count only 10% towards wagering, and the terms name roulette and baccarat betting patterns that can void a bonus.
• Mind your signal. If a stream drops mid-round, the table's rules settle it. Wi-Fi beats a patchy mobile signal.
• Pace yourself. Rounds are quick. Set a deposit limit and a reality check in the account's responsible gaming area first; the safer gambling page explains both.

Our view

For us, this is the high point of BetNeptune's casino. Carrying both studios means the big game shows and the serious card rooms are all under one roof, and the tabs make a table type quick to find. There are no branded or exclusive tables, which will not bother most players. The review sets the live casino against the rest of the site, and the mobile page covers playing on a phone.
